كوبا أميركا: تشيلي تكتسح المكسيك في طريق إلى المربع الذهبي

أكمل منتخب تشيلي عقد المتأهلين إلى الدور نصف النهائي، بعدما اكتسح نظيره المكسيكي بسباعية نظيفة، في النسخة المئوية لبطولة كوبا أميركا بكرة القدم، المقامة في الولايات المتحدة الأميركية، حتى 26 من الشهر الحالي.

ويعود الفضل بهذا الفوز الكبير إلى لاعب هوفنهايم الألماني إدواردو فارغاس الذي سجّل رباعية "سوبر هاتريك" (44 و52 و58 و74) ارتقى من خلالها إلى صدارة ترتيب قائمة هدافي البطولة برصيد ستة أهداف، متفوقاً على النجم الأرجنتيني ليونيل ميسي الذي كان اعتلى القائمة لساعات قليلة بتسجيله هدفه الرابع في مرمى فنزويلا. فيما أضاف اديسون بوتش (16 و88)، واليكسيس سانشيز (49) الأهداف الثلاثة الأخرى.
وستتواجه تشيلي في المربع الذهبي مع كولومبيا فجر الخميس القادم، في غياب نجم فريق بايرن ميونخ الألماني ارتورو فيدال الذي نال بطاقة صفراء هي الثانية له في البطولة.

المكسيك تعتذر

١٩ حزيران يونيو ٢٠١٦ ١١:١١

تقدم خوان كارلوس أوسوريو المدير الفني للمنتخب المكسيكي ولاعبو الفريق باعتذار إلى الجماهير المكسيكية في أعقاب الهزيمة الساحقة على يد منتخب تشيلي صفر- 7 اليوم الأحد في دور الثمانية لكأس أمم أمريكا الجنوبية لكرة القدم "كوبا أمريكا".
وقال أوسوريو خلال المؤتمر الصحفي للمباراة: "أود أن أتقدم بأعمق اعتذار إلى الجماهير المكسيكية، إلى كل الشعب المكسيكي، أعتقد أن ما حدث اليوم مأساة، حادثة في كرة القدم، أعتقد أننا قدمنا أداء باهتا للغاية، وأكرر القول أتقدم بآلاف الاعتذارات للشعب والجماهير المكسيكية".
ومن جانبه قال الجناح هيرفينغ لوزانو أن اللاعبون تحدثوا داخل غرفة خلع الملابس حول كيفية تجاوز هذه الهزيمة المأساوية.
وأضاف: "لقد اتفقنا على ضرورة مواجهة الأمر، علينا أن نواجه الإعلام والجماهير، أن نقدم الاعتذار للمكسيك".
وأشار المدافع ميغيل لايون: "ما حدث علينا جميعاً أن نفكر فيه ونحلله، لقد لمت نفسي كثيراً، أشعر بالخزي من نفسي بسبب ما حدث داخل أرض الملعب، وأود أن أتقدم بالاعتذار للشعب المكسيكي لأنهم لا يستحقون ما حدث منا اليوم".
